UYT manufacture Sunroof assemblies for a major worldwide car manufacturer. A large proportion of the component parts are manufactured in Japan (to reduce tooling cost), making UYT experts in managing these long lead-time components whilst keeping minimum stocks.
Our assembly line has robot cells for the application of adhesives/sealants and for riveting the sunroof frame. There are also several manual operation stations set in a horse-shoe arrangement, the final operation is robotic inspection. Our facility is designed to ship-in-sequence.
